Little Reservoir

Little Res, as it is known locally, is a short 8.3 miles from Beaver. The area boasts excellent hunting, fishing, bird watching, biking, and spectacular mountain scenery. Visit in the winter and enjoy ice fishing, snowmobiling, and cross country skiing.

The campground at Little Reservoir is tucked away in alpine mountains among a forest of ponderosa pine, pinion, juniper, and scrub oak. A paved trail leads down to the reservoir, which is popular with anglers who will find a variety of fish including rainbow trout and brown trout here. Grab your favorite rod and reel – whether you’re fly fishing, spinning, or bait-casting your chances of getting a bite here are good. Come and explore the rugged mountain landscape by foot or bike and prepare to be captivated.
