20 March Anderson Meadow Reservoir Anderson Meadow Reservoir is one of the many amazing reservoirs you can find when exploring the Tushars. This reservoir covers 8 acres at an elevation of 9,355 feet with a maximum depth of 21 feet. It’s located 6 miles from the SR-153 junction on FR-137, and the adjacent Forest Service campground has 10 campsites. You’ll find the lake stocked with rainbow trout as well as a large population of wild brook trout, so be sure to pack your fishing gear. This is also a great spot for paddleboarders to find smooth waters. Getting there: The Anderson Meadow Recreation Site is approximately 18.3 miles east of Beaver City. From Beaver travel 10 miles east on SR-153, turn right onto Kents Lake Road (FR-137) and travel another 8.3 miles. To reach this site from Junction, Utah travel 9 miles west on SR-153, turn left on FR-137 and travel another 7 miles. For winter access, Contact Ranger District Office for latest snow conditions.
