Minersville Lake

Minersville Lake (aka Minersville Reservoir) is more than 900 acres when full. Adjacent to the lake you’ll find a county-operated campground and paved boat ramp, where you can rent pedal boats and life jackets for a couple of hours.

The lake is known for its trophy-sized trout. In order to grow them big, special fishing rules apply, which include the use of flies and lures only and a restricted harvest of only 1 trout over 22 inches in length. Rules were established in the 1990s to correct biological problems and maintain a quality fishery—and it’s worked.

Families love Minersville Lake Park, a natural playground located alongside the lake designed to wear kids out!
