Solar Eclipse

October 14, 2023 @ 10:24 am - 10:35 am MDT

Annular Solar Eclipse

On Saturday October 14, 2023 from Approximately 10:24 AM-10:35 AM MDT the Moon will again pass directly between Earth and the Sun, however this time it will not quite completely cover the solar disk, instead turning it into a thin “ring of fire.” The eclipse can be viewed in Beaver County for roughly 4 minutes.

There are several viewing locations in Beaver County, the optimal suggested area is the Milford Flat on the West side of the County. Visit https://ramblersutah.com/milford/ for information about the Milford area.

Eye safety is important for viewing a solar eclipse, for eye safety protection click here https://eclipse.aas.org/eye-safety

Remember, if you visit any area in Beaver County to view the eclipse, remember to make sure you aren’t trespassing on private property and honor Beaver County by Rambling Responsibly and “leaving no trace”.
